A physical USB-HU adapter for connecting to the Lixiang head unit. Required for operations while ADB is still closed — OPEN ADB and Recovery HU.

Why you need it
Head units in Lixiang vehicles from 2024 onwards with OTA 8.0+ often have ADB closed — Windows does not see them over a USB cable. To open ADB for the first time (the OPEN ADB operation) or to recover a bricked unit (Recovery HU), you need to connect to the HU's USB port through the adapter.
After a successful OPEN ADB, all subsequent operations (Region Unlock, LDMevo, QR unlock, Net unlock, Install apps) work over a regular USB cable — the adapter is no longer needed.
One adapter works with all your Lixiang vehicles — it is not tied to a specific car and can be used again and again. You can even lend it to a friend after your own operation.

How to use it
- Pull back the center console trim panel on the driver's side.
- Locate the Type-C service port on the HU board on the driver's side.
- Connect the adapter to the HU with a USB 3.0 → Type-C cable. Connect the adapter to your laptop.
- In LIXIANGTOOLS, select "OPEN ADB". The process takes 5–10 seconds.
- Once it succeeds, the HU reboots and shows up in ADB mode — from then on, a regular USB cable is all you need.
