1. What is LIXIANGTOOLS
LIXIANGTOOLS is a professional tool for working with the head units (HU) of Lixiang vehicles (L6/L7/L8/L9/MEGA). It lets you open ADB, restore firmware, remove the region lock, run LDMevo diagnostics, install APKs, disable the infotainment QR code screen and renew blocked internet traffic.
It works over a USB connection from the HU to a Windows PC. All operations are linked to your account and recorded in the history.
2. Installation
2.1. Download
- Open lixiang.tools in your browser.
- Download the latest version of
LItools_v2.0.exe from the Download page.
2.2. Running the installer
- Double-click the downloaded
LItools_v2.0.exe.
- Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway.
- Accept the license (EULA) → tick BOTH required checkboxes → choose a folder → click Install.
- A LIXIANGTOOLS icon appears on the desktop. Launch it.
2.3. USB-UART drivers (CP210x)
Working through the UART adapter requires the Silicon Labs CP210x driver. The LIXIANGTOOLS installer automatically installs the CP210x and Qualcomm HS-USB drivers along with the client. If you need them separately, see the Drivers page.
3. Registration and sign-in
3.1. Creating an account
⚠ An email address is required. You cannot register without an email — a 6-digit confirmation code is sent to it.
- Launch LIXIANGTOOLS.
- In the sign-in window, click Register.
- Fill in all fields: Login · Password (at least 8 characters) · Email · Full name · Company · Phone · Country · City.
- Click Send — a 6-digit code will arrive by email.
- Enter the code in the field that appears → Confirm.
- The account is active immediately and ready to use.
3.2. Binding to a single PC
By default, an account is bound to one computer (the first one you sign in from). Signing in from a second PC returns the error account_on_another_pc. To enable multi-PC mode, contact the administrator via a Help Ticket.
3.3. Migrating from the old HUtools
If you already had a HUtools account (liconnect.ru), it has been migrated to LIXIANGTOOLS automatically. Your login and password are the same. If an email was specified, it is already verified and working. If no email was specified, the client will ask you to add one on first sign-in.
4. Connecting the head unit
4.1. Via USB — if ADB is already open
- Turn on the ignition (the HU must be fully powered on).
- Connect the HU to your laptop's port with a USB cable.
- In LIXIANGTOOLS, click Find HU — the SN, VIN and model will be detected.
Once the HU is detected, all operation tiles (except OPEN ADB) become active.
4.2. Via the UART adapter — if ADB is closed
You need a CP210x adapter connected to the HU's service port. You can order one right from LIXIANGTOOLS (see "Ordering a UART adapter").
5. Main operations
5.1. OPEN ADB — enabling debugging

Opens ADB access to the HU for installing apps, lifting system restrictions and diagnostics. Access persists after a reboot.
5.2. HU RECOVERY

Full reinstallation of the HU firmware when the unit is bricked after a failed OTA update. Restores all slot-dependent partitions.
5.3. REGION UNLOCK — changing the region

Removes the HU's regional lock. After the operation, the voice assistant, maps and updates work outside China, and any apps can be installed.
5.4. SERVICE RESET

Launches engineering Activities on the HU (test modes, calibrations, module information).
5.6. APPS INSTALLER

Installs APK packages on all Li Auto screens (driver / passenger / rear). The app catalog is loaded from the server. Supports drag & drop of your own APKs.
6. QR activation screen removal
🔓 Disabling the factory QR activation screen
Price: 10 000 ₽ · per VIN · lifetime
After a Lixiang head unit is replaced, reflashed or reset, the infotainment screen shows a QR code for the vehicle's initial activation. Until the QR code is scanned, the infotainment system is locked: the standard interface, maps, music and climate controls do not work.
What it does:
- removes the QR screen from the infotainment system
- enables the standard Lixiang interface
- activates the displays
- the result persists after an HU reboot
Can be reverted at any time — the QR screen will return. The license is bound to the vehicle's VIN for life.
7. Data traffic renewal
🌐 Unblocking internet traffic
Price: 5 000 ₽ · per VIN · lifetime
When the internet data limit has "expired", Lixiang shows the "Purchase Data Plan" window. This feature renews internet traffic so apps get internet access again.
Survives HU reboots and can be reverted in one click. The license is bound to the VIN for life.
8. LDMevo — vehicle diagnostics
🔧 Professional factory-level diagnostics for Lixiang
Price: 5 000 ₽ · one VIN · 1 month
LDMevo is a professional factory diagnostics module for Lixiang vehicles (L6 / L7 / L8 / L9 / MEGA). The license is bound to the VIN and is valid for 1 month from the date of payment. It allows you to:
- calibrate ADAS / cameras / radars after repairs or replacements
- adapt TPMS sensors and suspension height sensors
- read / clear fault codes on all ECUs
- run service procedures and program new keys, as well as used and new modules
- run actuator test modes (power windows, ABS, steering unit)
- perform adaptations after component replacement (battery, inverter, gearbox)
⚠ Open ADB on the HU is required. LDMevo works only with Lixiang vehicles whose head unit already has ADB open. If ADB is closed, open it first via the OPEN ADB section in LIXIANGTOOLS.
9. Ordering a UART adapter
📦 CP210x UART adapter with CDEK delivery
Price: 10 000 ₽ per unit
A professional Silicon Labs CP210x USB-UART adapter with a cable for connecting to the HU's service port. Required for operations while ADB is closed.
- On the UART adapter page (or in the "Licenses" section), click Add to cart.
- In the cart, click Pay — your account dashboard opens: pay by card, via SBP or with Telegram Stars.
- After payment, a delivery window appears: enter your full name, phone number and the address of a CDEK pickup point.
- We ship the adapter and send you the CDEK tracking number. You can edit the delivery details in your dashboard using the "📦 Delivery" button next to the order.
- CDEK delivery is paid by the recipient upon receipt.
⚠ Orders are shipped only after payment. Unpaid requests are not recorded.
10. Account dashboard
Available in your browser at lixiang.tools/account. It shows:
- Active licenses and operation history
- Cart and purchases
- Help Tickets (open / closed)
- Email, profile, password change
- A one-time PIN for quick sign-in to the desktop client
