How to install

1. Run LItools_v2.0.exe. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway.
2. Accept the EULA (in Russian) and confirm that you do not represent any restricted organization.
3. The installer automatically installs the Silicon Labs CP210x and Qualcomm HS-USB drivers.
4. After installation, a "LIXIANGTOOLS" icon appears on the desktop and in the Start menu.

⚠️ Antivirus or Windows Defender blocks the installation

The client is protected with VMProtect, which looks suspicious to antivirus software, so Windows Defender and some antivirus products may delete or block the installer. This is a false positive. To avoid blocking, add the installation folder to the exclusions before running the installer.

Windows Defender (Microsoft Defender)

1. Open Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection.
2. Under "Virus & threat protection settings", click Manage settings.
3. Scroll down to "Exclusions" → Add or remove exclusions.
4. Click + Add an exclusion → Folder and specify: C:\Program Files\LIXIANGTOOLS
5. Repeat and add a Process: LIXIANGTOOLS.exe
6. If the installer has already been deleted, download it again with the button above (it will no longer be removed).

Kaspersky

1. Open Kaspersky → ⚙️ Settings → Threats and Exclusions.
2. Specify trusted applications → Add → select LIXIANGTOOLS.exe.
3. Check: Do not scan opened files, Do not block application activity, Do not monitor application activity.

ESET NOD32 / Internet Security

1. Open ESET → F5 (Advanced setup) → Computer protection → Real-time file system protection → Performance exclusions.
2. Add → specify the path: C:\Program Files\LIXIANGTOOLS\*

Avast / AVG

1. Menu → Settings → General → Exceptions.
2. Add exception → specify: C:\Program Files\LIXIANGTOOLS\ (with an asterisk: ...\*).

Dr.Web

1. Dr.Web menu → 🔒 (disable protection for 10 minutes) → Tools → License Manager → Settings → Exclusions.
2. Add LIXIANGTOOLS.exe to Excluded applications and the folder C:\Program Files\LIXIANGTOOLS\ to Excluded files and folders.

If the installer has already been deleted

1. Open Windows Defender → Protection history.
2. Find the blocked file LItools_v2.0.exe → Actions → Allow.
3. Or in Kaspersky and other products: Quarantine → Restore and add to exclusions.
4. If it cannot be restored, download it again after adding the exclusion.

The SHA-256 checksum above lets you confirm that you downloaded our genuine installer. To check it in PowerShell:

First sign-in

On first launch, the program asks for the e-mail and password of your lixiang.tools account. No account yet? Create one right on the website, then sign in to the client.

For later launches you can use a 4-digit PIN — get it in your account dashboard; it is valid for 5 minutes.
