🌍 Region Unlock for Li Auto (Lixiang)
Region Unlock removes the regional lock on the Li Auto (Lixiang) head unit. Internet, voice assistant, maps and updates work outside China, and the car no longer falls back to the QR screen after deep sleep.

What changes after Region Unlock
- HU internet is no longer blocked by region;
- voice assistant, maps and updates work outside China;
- the head unit no longer drops to the QR screen after deep sleep;
- local apps (including Russian ones) can be installed;
- the setting is not reset after a reboot.

Before you start
Region Unlock runs over a regular USB cable, but ADB must be open on the head unit. If it is still closed, run OPEN ADB first.
How to unlock the region — step by step
- Download LIXIANGTOOLS and sign in to your account.
- Buy a Region Unlock license on this page.
- Switch on the ignition, connect the HU to your laptop with a USB cable and click “Find HU” — the app detects the SN, VIN and model.
- Select the “Region Unlock” operation and wait for it to finish.

Why does my Lixiang show a QR code after deep sleep?
The head unit is locked to the Chinese region and returns to the activation screen after deep sleep. Region Unlock removes this lock, and the QR code no longer appears.
Will the region reset after a reboot?
No, the setting is retained after a reboot.
Do I need a UART adapter?
Not for Region Unlock itself — it works over USB. You only need the adapter if ADB is still closed: in that case, run OPEN ADB first.
How many cars does the license cover?
The license is issued for one head unit and never expires.
