Installing apps on Li Auto (Lixiang)
On recent Li Auto (Lixiang) firmware, stock app installation is blocked. In LIXIANGTOOLS apps install for free — you only need open ADB. APKs install on all screens: driver, passenger and rear.

Popular apps
Once ADB is open, any apps can be installed on the Li Auto head unit: navigation (e.g. Yandex Maps and Navigator), music, video, messengers, browsers. To stop apps being blocked by region and to install Russian services, use Region Unlock.
How to install an app
- Make sure ADB is open. If not — open ADB.
- Launch LIXIANGTOOLS, sign in and connect the HU to the laptop with a USB cable.
- Click “Find HU” — the app detects the model.
- Open “App installation”, pick an app from the catalog or drag in your own APK.
- Choose the screen — driver, passenger or rear — and wait for the install.

If an app has no internet
If the “Purchase Data Plan” window appears, the head unit's factory data allowance has run out: YouTube, VK, Yandex Navigator, the browser and music stop working. Data Traffic Restore fixes it — 5,000 ₽ per VIN, lifetime.

Is app installation paid?
No, the App installation feature is free. Only opening ADB is paid, if it's closed.
Can I install my own APK?
Yes. Besides the server catalog, drag & drop of your own APKs is supported.
Which screens can apps go on?
All Li Auto screens — driver, passenger and rear.
Do I need the UART adapter to install apps?
No. Installation works over a regular USB cable. The adapter is only needed for the first ADB unlock if ADB is closed.
Will apps disappear after a reboot?
ADB stays open after an HU reboot. After Recovery HU (a full firmware reinstall) apps have to be installed again.
